Welcome to Winter Activities at the AMC’s Noble view Outdoor Center in Russell, MA!
We are excited this winter to open Noble View's hiking trails for cross country skiing and snowshoeing. From atop the hill at Noble View, you can enjoy the beautiful views looking east to Westfield and Springfield. There are 4 miles of marked, ungroomed ski trails, with most ski trails easy and a few moderate difficulty. Snowshoeing can be done on all 12 miles of trails. Open daily during daylight hours. A Winter Trails map can also be found on this Kiosk board with a QR code to download it to your phone. Thanks to the AMC’s Southern New England Regional Trails Department, Noble View Stewards Council Trail Committee members, and our Adopt a Trail volunteers for their work on making this possible. The Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) has owned the 360 acre Noble View property since 1931.
